Busy times in the studio the last few months which resulted in a load of new releases coming up.A small overview:
1. Jonas Steur feat Julie Thompson - Cold winds : Scheduled for release the 9th of september , already on the playlist of Tiesto and promo's just have been sent to a list of selected trance top jocks. To be coming to your ears soon. Check the player on this site for a preview !
2. Leon Bolier - XD ( Jonas Steur remix): The first single of Leon's upcoming album remixed by me in a old/ new school trance style. Out now !
3. Adrian Ivan - Re:back (Jonas Steur remix) : Fresh Steur remix for this Romanian producer, Out soon !
4. Deadmau5 - Clockwork (Jonas Steur ' Ultra violence remix"): Black hole asked me to remix this remake of a classic. A though job but I think the result is very nice ! To be released as beatport exclusive together with the original on the 20th of september.
Currently I'm working on more stuff including a track with Elsa Hill and more stuff with Julie Thompson. Check out the upcoming episodes of the breakout show to hear these tracks as first !

Breakout show starting 25th of january
Finally I'm gonna start my own show. After being a resident on the intuition show for about 2 years it's time for something 100% Steur. And instead of 100 % you'll get 200 % cause I'm not the only Steur involved !
Breakout will be a monthly show consisting of two 60 minute sets made by my brother Simon and I.
We'll bring you our personal selection of red hot tracks in the mix. Trance, house, techno and all the crossovers between them or ridiculously named boxes you can put it in, we'll play it if it rocks!

Last friday a set of mine was featured in Tiesto's radio show 'Club life'. Every week there's a 15 minute time slot for an 'upcoming dj' ( I'm already in the business for a while but I still consider myself to be going up ;) )

After being a resident of the intuition radioshow for a few years Jonas had to stop doing this because of formula changes.

In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza
It starts to become an annual tradition but it remains damn cool every year. The new In search of sunrise mixed by Tiesto has been announced and just like the previous 2 editions I have a track featured on this compilation. 'Fall to pieces' feat the lovely Jennifer Rene is the track that made it this time.

Oh yes folks, the album is finished and the first single scheduled... Both are featured on the upcoming album 'Born for the night' to be released on Black hole recordings later this year.
'Fall to pieces' already was featured in some of my own sets and after all the speculation going on I finally can confirm it's indeed a collab between the lovely Jennifer Rene and I. Nice to mention that this flip side track is already being hammered by the Worlds trance majors like e.g. Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Mark Norman.
'Born for the night' is the title track of the album and hints at the all new and improved diverse Jonas sounds ;) Be aware of ‘Born For The Night’… It might give you an instant ‘summer of 2007’ feeling! Enjoy and watch out for these tracks!
